I'll tell about Pcture1. They are friends on facebook, and have same hobby.  They made an appointment to meet acutually. They met for the first time, so they had to bring the bord writed his name and Facebook. Thanks to Facebook, they caould become new friends!
Next, I`m going to think about picture5. A old man is falling in platform. He must have seen a e-mail, and there was a news saying his reconstruction of his company.He was very shocked by the e-mail, and couldn't stand up.When  people receive serious shock they seems to fall down.

NEW !!!!!

I have wanted  to do something new when I was a high school student, because I was too bisy to do something except club activity...So! There are many things I want to do!;D First, I want to travel many countries. Actually, I have never been to abroad(except Korea). I want to travel with friends, but also I want to travel alone. The reason I want to travel is to see way of living and talk with people all over the world;D I'm interested in people who have different way of thinking, so when I found new  friends I ask  too  many question to them!haha My new friends have each different way of thinking, ofcourse. I think people who live in different countries,  have different culture and  use different language must have far different way of thinking!! I'm really interested in them!!!

Travel!!!

I have never been to abroad except Korea. When I was a second grade of high school student, I was sure to go to China for last trip. Though that time pig influenza was epidemic,so we could not go to abroad....x( I really want to go to China! I like Asian atmosphere. For example China or Korea 's complicated market. I often watch that on TV,and image what's it like. Merchants call us to buy anniversaries or ethnic foods. There may be noisy and not very clean, but I like the active, cheerful and friendly people!!



By the way do you know that Chinese couldn't have two children? That's called "hitorikko seisaku". How ever November 27th, China changed. If both of wife and husband has no brother or sister, they can have up to two children. I think that China mekes very simple low, but it seems fits to Chinese. I'm really interested in China!

Give and Take

I have lived in Japan for 18 years, however there are many customs that I don't know.

Recently I'm interested in Japanese culture, so today I learned it and I will write here.

 I learned at first is "present custom".Japanese often give presents to friends,company and even teacher. When you were given something for presents, you have to give a present for return. However you don't have have to buy something that is same price of given present.It's must be half price. I think it's because many Japanese fill sorry when they get something without paying,(except birthday or other cerebrations),

so they want to give something for return. However, if people give presents and he get something that looks same price, he will fill sorry for the paying. For these reason Japan has "half return"culture, I think.

Autumn

It seems that Autumn pasts really fast. Especially this year it seems that winter is coming after summer. Although winter is short, there are a lot of good points in autumn. One of these is school event, for example, sports festival and art festival. I like sports, so I had enjoyed sports festival every year until high school. However threre is no sport festival in university. I was little sad X( I wanted to hold sport festival, so I made the event in Uegahara Habitat at last month. It was really ecxited! I think we must do sports festival in every autumn.

There are not only enjoyable events but also many tasty foods in autumn. Especially I really like sweet popatoes!! Next Wednesday, I'll take part in sweet potato party at Mr.Mike's home. Mr.Mike is Ms.Grubel's husband :) He also held yakinuku party in last spring. It will be enjoyable! I'm looking forward to autumn foods:D

Friends!

I have gone to Kenkoku school for 12 years, so my old friends were my class mates of high school. Especailly, all of my friends who are girls, and had gone to Kenkoku school since 6years old are members of korean traditional dance and drum club. When we were elementaly school students, we did club activity two times a week. Since we were junior high school students, we had done club activity every day for 6years. Therefore we are like brothers. We send 2/3 of our life together. Perhaps, we send more time together than our each families.Now, one of the best friend goes to Korean university. At first, I was very sad...x( BUT! We started using skype. We can free call  by using skype :) Actually, lest of the best friends go to Japanese university, so we meet every weekend. We practice korean dance and drum a time a week.We can keep in touch without internet. I think modern people need Skype! Skype is cibilization :D w  

My life!

I often had imaged my ideal marriage before. However I don't recently.I don't know why, but it's maybe because I think too much about my future before marriage.I am not afford to think about marriage now...I'm really looking forward to working :D Therefore I will marriage when I get tired of my work, and I want to enjoy my new life!
I want to marry with a funny man such as friend. I will have to spend everyday with my husband, so if my husband was too diligent, I will be boring. Second, I hope my husband is active.I want to try to many things that I have never done, and trip to many countries. Especailly if I had children, I want my husband to take our children to many interesting places. I think I don't have many requirement for my husband. I want to enjoy my life with my husband, children, friends and companies! That's all!!!!

Why?

I am really afraid of ghosts, so when I hear ghost stories I feel big fear for a time. However I enjoy ghost stories because soon I forget the stories, and also I have never felt ghost...exept this experience.Today
I'll tell you about little strange story.

 One day in last spring, I was practicing korean drums. We did'nt have to go there, so Iwas playing drums alone. After an hour practice, I wanted to see if my dance became better or not. I decided to record myself. At first I recorded myself by digital camera. Suddenly, the camera stoped  in the middle of playing by itself. It was out of order. I was so irritated because I had to play one more time. Then I decided to record by mobile phone camera. I changed my mind, and tried again. However the mobile phone camera stopped again. It was same point with digital camera stopped. I was so afraid of that. I went to go there to practice 3hours, but I came back to home soon. I don't know why the two camera stopped at same point. Both capacity and bettery were okay. Perhaps it was caused by ghost.......   

My Favorite Season is...

Winter!!It's my favorite season.There are so many  reason why I like winter the best. First, there are many funny events in winter. For example Christmas, the Ner Year and Saint Valentine's Day. On the evenig of Christmas Eve, I go to church and take part in the Christmas ceremony. The candles and chapel's songs are very beautiful and it made me something special. I can meet old friends at there. The Christmas nearing, I am  really excited!

 5days later, New Year's Eve come. I clean all room of house with my family, and we spend the night together. At 12:00 we eat Toshikoshisoba, and after that we go Matsuri in midnight. In the morning, we ate specail New year food. There are both Japanese foods and korean foods. My family is Japanese Korean style. I think it's more Korean style but I don't know Japanese style, therefore I can't say definitely. Which I like the best is meeting relatives. When I get to kyoto, usually there are so many people that I can't remember. Now my relatives are increasing. At least two babies are born, and at least a cousin marry in a year.

Saint Valentine's Day is also my favorite event in winter. The most of girls make chocorate or any other sweets at February 13, and we carry that to the school. The class room is full of sweet smell! We give classmates the sweets each other, and we eat that together. It's very nice day!I want to give and take sweets with friend this year! There are many nice events like those in winter.For these  reason I like winter the best!

Cycling Trip in Summer

I belong to volunteer group "Uegahara Habitat". In this summer, we carried out two project. One was "Rin" that helps Philippine children, and the other was "Charipure" that I took part in. The project's purpose was to inform children about volunteer works and world's poverty problems. "Chari" means cycle, and "pure"means presentation. I traveled from Nagoya to KGU by bycicle, and visited three high school to show a presentation. Before start, I worried about many things. First, there was no girl who is 1st grade ecept me. Two, I have never show a presentation ecept English class. Three, cycling for 10days sounded very tough.  However when the project started, there were no problems that I worried about. All of member were very friendly and kind, so I had never felt lonly or uncomfortable. I practiced presentation many times, so the presentation was scusessful, and I enjoy talking with high school student. Actually cycling was tough work, but I used to be runnning or other sports, so there was no ploblem to cycle in all day. The most interesting thing was cycling in early morning. One day, we had to wake up in 4:00 AM to visit a high school. There were little time, so only 7 members that 6 men and me rode on bicycle and cycled like motor bikes. The sunshine was very beautiful, and we didn't have to stop because there were no cars.There is one more impressive thing. When we were rising funds to Higasinihon Daishinsai at Nara, a stranger came to us. Then, he said "Dont, do such activity!It's like a thief!Stupid!" It was terrible shock. Through this project, I sonsidered about many things about volunteer.I want to keep considering about volunteer works and world's ploblem.

Summer Vacation!

I'm going to korea to practice the tradittional drums at August Fist. I will practice with friends in korea and professional drumer. I'm looing forward to the practice! Although I'm little nervous. I cannot practice or training long time, because I must take the first examination...X(
At September, I will take part in Uegahara Habitat activity"ちゃりぷれ". We will go to Nagoya, Hiroshima and Wakayama by the track. Then, we will back to KG university by the bicycle!!! While traveling, we will visit junior high school and  give a presentation about volunteer, and discuss about  poverty.It will be very fun!!!!!!!!!!!!

My First Presentation!

  I had never made long presentation before last Thursday! I consider what to talk about. At last, I decided to introduce "Samulnori" Korean performance art. When I stood infront of my friends, I felt little nervous, and when I started presentation I could not talk fluently. I watched my memo many times. I could see my friends listening hard to my presentation, I tried to watch them. Then, my feeling became better. I think second and third presentation ware better than first. That is maybe because gradually I used to talk infront of friends, excepting teachers! When John and Hase came to me, my presentation became worse..X(

  The presentation that I was intersted in the best was Tomomi's. She talked about sweets! I love sweet , maybe you too : ) I knew the difference of shortcake between the USA and Japan. I though I was lucky to be born in Japan not the USA, because I can eat better shortcake! Manami and Wacky's presentation about movies made me want to see the movies. Ryosuke and Takato's presentation made me big impression! I don't hate grotesque pictures, but the pictures were impressive. All presentation I heard, forexample  about  artist, place, sports, color and so on, were interesting. I want to know more about the topics. I want to talk with them once more. In presentation class, the best thing was I can saw friend's each characters!

　By the way, I tought that I will have to give presentations many times in the future. This presentation will be good experience for me~: )



Girls and Boys

 I think there are no differences of mind between girls and boys, because I often hear that my opinions and  choices are like a boy's...: ) However, only difference I've ever felt was thinking way to shopping.

 Oneday, my family went to a big shoppingmall. I and my mother looked shops together and my father and brothers went around together. For long times, I and my mother enjoy seeing clothes and pretty goods. Then, my mother's telephone rang. It was from my father. He said "Let's go to home". We wanted to go around more shops, but we went to our car. When my father saw our small shoppoing bags, he said to me, "I thougt that you bought more things! Why did you came so late?" How many things did I get was not important for me, the time to enjoy with my mother was important. Just tring favorite clothes or watching the prices were  very exciting  for me.Then, I saw my father carring many shoppoing bags. Then, I thought boys are too practical, and girls were abstract. Do you like window shopping?? I don't know this  is  a difference between girls and boys.

Recent Days☆

Recently, I became a member of "Uegahara Habitat". That's is international volunteer association regarded  NGO.We go to developing country, and help building house or play with young children.We also volunteer in Japan.

Last Saturday, I took part in a campaign to raise funds for the great earthquake in northeast Japan. at nishinomiya-kitaguchi ACTA. It was raining at the time, so few people were there. In addition, there was handicapped association that raising a fund next to us, so we could raise little money. To appeal to raise the fund tires me,but when peple cheered me up, tiredness were faded away. We louded a long time. At the end, the thing which most pleased me is happen. One of  handicapped association walked to us, and raised the money. I was so surprise for me! As is oftten the case with vcolunteer, he contiributes  the money to his own association, however, he was special. He cheered us up too! My heart became warm.

 "Uegahara Habitat" doesn't do charities, but also funny event.
Last Wednesday, we were invited by Mike whose wife is master of Kwansei Gakuin University's. He prepared BBQ for us! After fifth term ended, we go to Mike's house.That's is right back of building F. When we arrived, there are many meats,vegetables,and snacks.I hadn't done BBQ since I was junior high school student, so boiling meats was really excited, and the meal were very delicious!

I think I was right to have chosen this assotiation. I'd like to try something I have never done.

(Story 2) Not a Normal Zoo Day

It all started on a nice sunny day last April. All the kids in school were excited to be going to the zoo, but I was especially excited. I love animals and picnics, and going to the zoo is having both at the same time.

At the zoo, we got to see different animals in their cages and some of them were getting fed by their guards. Each of us had a favorite animal, and mine was the Elephant.

It was all going well, until Sam decided to mess around with the lock on the monkeys' cage and then...

Monkeys jumpped out from the cage!!

Monkeys robbed us of popcorns and ice-cream cone,and they started running away.

All of us were angry.Sam felt  guilty,so he made a plan to resolve the trouble,and
he started making a way to monkey's cage with popcorn.

Then monkeys found it and they followed it.Sam was in the cage and waited to come in all of monkeys.

At last, all of monkeys came back to the cage, and Sam locked the door from inside.Then he saw his friends laughing at him.because the door could open only from outside.He cried for us to open the door, but we laughed coldly.

The day was really funny for me, but Sam  will be not able to visit the zoo forever...

My family and neighborhood

My family and my neighbor are getting along very nicely.I have naver moved my home,and my neighborhood.I and my brothers were often gived some candies and something to eat by my neighborhood;) I sometime meet my neighbor,and they always ask me how old I am.They always tell me that I have grown up.There are five on my family.I live with my father,mother,older brother and youger brother.My house was bought by my grand father.It seems to be little big than avarage houses, but it is very old. My father is a copy writer and he often works in Tokyo in weekdays.Then weekend he come back to Osaka by the plane or shinkansen.He loves our house and family:) My mother is a kindergarten teacher.She really likes child and enjoy her job.She also enjoy playing volleyball every Tuesday and Friday.Recently,my parents run in marathon together.My older brother is fourth grade of university and he is in Australia.He left Osaka at Aplil 2,so I went to Kansai airport after entrance ceremony.My younger brother is second grade of high school.He major in international,and he can speak English well than me.He plays the electric guiter in my house.I'm sick of his guiter sound...Some how he has a pretty girl friend,and they have been going out for nine months.I envy him...When I was little, I went to the park and public bath near my home everyday.At there,I and neighbor chatted fliendly.For this reason,my neighbor seem to know about these information,and we know about them.I think my home town is so old that we can  get along friendly each other.I like my family and neighborhood!

Where I hope to live in the future

Where I hope to live in the future is country where there are many natural greens. I live in urban area, and I will work in urban area like here. The area is very convinient, but I will be sick of constant life. When I retaired my job, I want to move to calm place with my husband. At there, I want to cultivate some vegetables and fruits. Then I will be more healthy because I can get more groceris that contains no agricultural chemicals.  Self sufficient life style sounds very nice! If I was tired of cultivating, I want to take a nap or read my favorite books on grass freely. Whenever I can do anything that I want to do. Everyday I feel a day is very short, maybe that is because I have to do too many thinngs in a day and there are too many incidents. If  I live in calm place, a day will be felt very long.  What will be a wonderful life that is; ) There are a lot of merit for living in natural area. When my grand child come to my house, they will be able to experience many things that they cannot do usually. I heard playing in natural palace make child healthy, strong and sensitive. For these merits, my sons or daughters will often take his children to my house, so I will not feel lonely. To live peaceful like that in future, I will work hard and save money and I must marry!!; )

My Golden Week

My golden week was very very hard!!!! Usually, students don't go to schools in golden week, so Korean drum club that I belong to has a camp for practice every year. Some professional drumer comes to Japan and they teachs us all days. But this year I could not as anual camp. I had to come school because KG univercity doesn't have golden week. So after I studied at KG, I went to the camp as soon as possible. because it's takes about 2hours to go to camp, I slept at the train. When I arrived at camp, I startsd practice until about 11'o clock. It was very hard schedule for me. But usually I could not play drum, I was very happy. And I like this univercity and  friends too, so the golden week was excited. By the way, there was a troule for me. Because I was very tired on second day,I slept at the train to the camp. I was in the JR roop rine from Osaka to Tennoji.I fell asleep because I was tired. I thought I would wake up after a few minutes. But I couldn't! When I woke up, I was in the Universal Studiao Japan city!! I run out from the train. There were very many families and couples. Because the day was golden week... I was very ashamed. When the train left the USJ station, I fell asleep again. Then I woke up at my goal station!!;-)

My childhood memories

There were many kinds of way to play korean traditional drums. These had been played by many people from very old past. In 30years ago, Samulnori was remaked as stage performance.When I was 15 years old, I took part in the anniversary festival of Samulnori's birth. We were invited and asked to play in opening ceremony. The ceremony's concept was "World Samulnori together". When I arrived at the place to practice place, there were many people with various color of skin. They were from China, the USA, Russia, Germany, Italy andSouth Africa. First,They showed own countries traditional drum, we played koeran drums. I watched various drum. These were very interesting. Then  I had to play Samulnori with them. I felt anxiety because we could not communicate with each other in common language. But when ceremony was started, my anxiety went away. I was very excited!!!!!!We played Samulmori smiling with each other. The ceremony had great success. I think that the way of communicate is not only language. I communicated with various species of pople with drum!

What I like about Japan

What I like about Japan is Kotatsu. Kotatsu is a table with blanket, and inside of  table there is a heater. In the world, people use many type of heaters. I think most popular heater is air conditioner. Some people use fire place.In Korea, most people have floor heating. In Japan, most people have Kotatsu, ofcourse I have too.  Usually I and my brothers go to each own room after dinner soon. But in winter, thanks to Kotatsu, my family watch TV and chat and eat some fruits together. I like the time. I think Kotatsu makes us closer.
I like Japanese food too! Especially I like Takoyaki.  I ofen make it with my friends. But I don't make nomal Takoyaki. For example, I put not only octopus,but also potatos, cheeses and kimchi in it. And some time put wasabi or karashi!!! It's very exciting to choose safty takoyaki!! Why not hold takoyaki party together ：)

About me!

Hi~! I'm Siyoo. I am Korean but I was born in Osaka. I had studied Korean, Korean history, and cluture at Keonguk school for 12 years. Thanks to it, I can speak easy Korean. What I enjoyed the best is culb activity. I was a member of Korean traditional dance and drum club since I was a 4 grade elementary school. We had practiced dance and drums, and we took part in many competitions and festivals. We won a president prize in Korean competition. It's best prize. People were very surprized that we won the prize.Because we live in foreign country,Japan. We paticipate Japanese drum competition and won a first prize. Foreigner had never won any prize. I was very moved!  It's very hard to practice everyday. But when I get applause from audience, I'm very happy!!!!I graduated Keouguk school, but I want to go on dancing and playing forever!!
